Delivery Preferences & Options

Free Curbside Delivery

Free Curbside Delivery involves standard light freight delivery of your product to the door of your home, office or facility (ground level only). Ship tracking will be emailed to you once your order has shipped, and a freight company coordinator will call you to schedule a convenient time for delivery once your order reaches their distribution center.

Important:

  • If there are any steps leading to your delivery destination, the freight company will only deliver your item as far as the first step.
  • Recliners are shipped "knocked-down" meaning that the chair back will be laying down on top of the recliner base in the box and require attaching to the base. Recliners with casters will already have their casters attached, and can be easily rolled out of the box.
  • Beds generally ship in multiple boxes to make transporting the individual sections easier. Exceptions are Big Boys and Flex-A-Bed bed frames, which ship assembled.
  • Lift products are shipped in sections within a single box and will require light assembly.
  • Scooters and Power Chairs are shipped in sections within a single box and will require light assembly.

Not Included With This Option:

  • Inside delivery
  • Assembly of your product
  • Removal of packaging material

Inside Delivery

Inside Delivery is an upgrade delivery option. The cost for this service is indicated on product pages when the option is available (cost and availability varies by product and manufacturer). This option involves standard light freight delivery of your product inside the "first threshold" (ex. front door, garage or business/office entrance) of your delivery destination (ground floor only) unless otherwise noted on the product page. Ship tracking will be emailed to you once your order has shipped, and a freight company coordinator will call you to schedule a convenient time for delivery once your order reaches their distribution center. 

Important:  

  • If there are any steps leading to your delivery destination, the freight company will only deliver your item as far as the first step.
  • If the box(s) being delivered are too large for the door of your delivery destination, the freight company will only deliver your item as far as outside the door. If your doorway is not large enough to accommodate a 36" to 48" wide box, you may want to consider the "Delivery & Setup" or "Platinum Delivery & Setup" (Pride products) options.

Delivery & Setup (i.e. White Glove)

Delivery & Setup—or Platinum Delivery & Setup and Pro Service Tech Setup on Pride products—are premium delivery service options, often referred to as "white glove." The cost for these services is indicated on product pages when the option is available (cost and availability varies by product and manufacturer). "Delivery & Setup" and "Platinum Delivery & Setup" options involve shipping your order to a white glove (WG) delivery agent near you. Ship tracking will be emailed to you once your order has shipped. Please note that the estimated delivery date indicated will be that of the delivery to the white glove agentThe white glove coordinator will generally call you within 24 to 48 hours of receiving your order to schedule a date and time convenient to you to deliver and completely install your product. NOTE: The delivery and setup options can add 5 to 7 days to the total fulfillment time of your order.

This Service Includes:

  • Delivery into your home, office or unit if delivery to an apartment or facility*
  • Product setup in the room of your choice
  • Removal of all packing materials and boxes

*Pro Service Tech Setup Differentiation:

Pride product orders that offer the "Pro Service Tech Setup" option are shipped to you directly. If you wish to have the product delivered inside, you will need to additionally select the Inside Delivery option. A trained service technician will call you with 24 to 48 hours of the delivery to schedule a convenient date and time to complete the above listed services in your residence or office.

Not Included With These Options: 

  • Moving furniture or other items to clear space for the installation of your the product
  • Removing existing bed, mattress, recliner or other furniture (exception is for Flex-A-Bed products for which a "Delivery/Setup & Move Existing Bed" or "Deliver/Setup & Remove Old Mattress" are available)
