The Big Boyz Bariatric Low Bed 800 with Mattress offers a lower height range of 17.25" to a raised height of 31" with included 6"H mattress. This Big Boyz Low Bed is specifically designed for Long Term Care, Rehabs and Nursing Home use, offering two widths in one easy-to-operate bed unit. The slide feature can transform the width of the bed from 48 inches to 38 inches. This dual function beds can be used as a gurney for easy transfer through doorways and emergency evacuation.

Big Boyz Beds feature Linak motors which allow for smooth and quiet dynamic movement without disturbing a partner or surrounding residents. The Foot section does not pitch down, but plateaus to reduce edema of lower extremities. Low height full electric beds have DC motors for the head section, foot section and overall height. Extra weight capacity bed features multiple positions, and independent head and knee gatch for personalized positioning. All electronics are completely enclosed, and fully grounded with hospital grade 3 prong heavy duty plug and cord. Electronics and motors UL listed, 115 volts. Remote features 8 button control for all functions, is low voltage, and has a high impact resistant case. Optional bed mounted trapeze, heavy duty side rails, and integrated digital scale are also available.

Shipping/Delivery*

*Due to global raw material delays, Big Boyz Bed orders are currently taking 6 to 8 weeks to ship. This is a made-to-order item. Under normal conditions, construction of your bed will begin on the next business day after your order has placed. Order to ship time is generally 2 to 3 business days. Freight transit time will vary depending on the destination of your bed from the Big Boyz manufacturing facility in Pennsylvania. Free Curbside Delivery orders are delivered to your door, but not brought inside or removed from the box. The freight company will call you to arrange for a convenient delivery date and time. Bed Setup and Bed Setup & Move Existing Bed options may add 3 to 5 days to your expected delivery time.

Mattress Features

The Big Boyz Lite Comfort Mattress features multiple layers of high density foam to provide a 6" mattress that has a density and other qualities to provide patient comfort and pressure reduction. The mattress comes with a durable water resistant cover, and can be placed directly on the hospital bed frame.

The available 1226 Scale System employs the latest in microprocessor and load cell technology to provide accurate and repeatable weight data. Four (4) identically matched transducers are strategically placed to ensure an accurate representation of the patient's weight regardless of weight distribution. The Patient's weight is displayed on a 16 character dot matrix liquid crystal display with L.E.D. backlighting. Patient weight may be viewed in both POUNDS and KILOGRAMS with the push of a button with a display resolution of 0.1 #/Kg (100 grams). The 1226 also features a WEIGHT CHANGE mode which makes it convenient to monitor the patient's weight relative to ZERO in order to observe variations in weight. A FREEZE feature is provided to give the added convenience of being able to adjust the patient's comfort by adding a pillow, book or adjusting the bed without affecting the patient's displayed weight.
