Peptamen® Intense VHP is a very high‑protein, peptide‑based enteral nutrition formula, designed to meet the complex needs of patients with impaired gastrointestinal (GI) function and critically high protein demands. Each 250 mL ready‑to‑use carton delivers 250 kcal, with 37 % of energy from enzymatically hydrolyzed whey protein—the highest protein ratio among complete tube‑feeding formulas

This unflavored liquid provides optimally balanced macronutrients:

• 23 g protein, 9.5 g fat (50 % from MCTs) and 19 g carbohydrate

• Includes omega‑3 fatty acids (EPA & DHA) to support anti‑inflammatory needs
  

• Contains 4 g/L prebiotic soluble fiber to support digestive tolerance and GI health
  

• Formulated with low carbohydrate content to aid glucose management, and zero lactose/gluten, making it suitable for gluten-free and lactose intolerance diets (not intended for galactosemia or cow’s milk protein allergy)
