It features an 18-cell, cell-on-cell design to prevent bottoming out, even in the event of power failure. The mattress is covered with a durable, fluid-resistant, antimicrobial, and vapor-permeable nylon quilted top, ensuring both hygiene and patient comfort.

What it is:

• The mattress is made up of 18 individual air cells arranged in a cell-on-cell structure.
• This means it has two layers of air cells: the top layer provides alternating pressure therapy, while the bottom layer remains inflated at all times to act as a support system.

• Prevents bottoming out: If power is lost or the system malfunctions, the bottom layer remains inflated, ensuring the patient does not sink to the bed frame.
