What it is:

• The mattress is made up of 18 individual air cells arranged in a cell-on-cell structure.
• This means it has two layers of air cells: the top layer provides alternating pressure therapy, while the bottom layer remains inflated at all times to act as a support system.

• Prevents bottoming out: If power is lost or the system malfunctions, the bottom layer remains inflated, ensuring the patient does not sink to the bed frame.
• Provides consistent support: Unlike single-layer air mattresses, this dual-layer system offers better weight distribution, reducing pressure on high-risk areas like the back, heels, and elbows.

Durable, Fluid-Resistant, Antimicrobial Nylon Quilted Cover

• The top cover of the mattress is made from a durable, quilted nylon fabric that is fluid-resistant, antimicrobial, and vapor-permeable.
