Invacare's microAIR Alternating Pressure Mattress System 36"W x 80"L features True Low Air Loss and Pulsation therapy. The MA800 system's True Low Air Loss feature helps manage skin moisture to avoid maceration and maintain a dryer environment for pressure ulcer healing in the treatment of Stage I to Stage IV pressure ulcers. True Low Air Loss therapeutic support wicks away moisture and maintains a temperate environment for the user. The MA800 line features Advanced 3-in-1 Alternating Function inflates and deflates cells in a 3:1 cycle to provide active pressure relief by supporting two-thirds of the user's body weight at any given time. Advanced 3-in-1 Alternating Function Explained

3-in-1 Alternating Pressure (AP) inflates and deflates the individual mattress air bladders in cycles to provide "active pressure relief" in a 3:1 ratio, meaning the mattress surface supports 2/3 of the body's weight at any given time. This approach to the cycling of air bladders offers a smoother transition between cycle times, and can provide a more comfortable surface due to the better distribution of the body's weight. This is an improvement to older "every-other-cell" (2:1) alternating pressure systems that supports only 50% of the body during AP mode.
