The PressureGuard APM 2.0 with Alternating Pressure and Lateral Rotation gives you 2x the treatment options; 2x the flexibility; and 2x the value. Change instantly and easily from alternating pressure to basic lateral rotation with a single, recessed toggle switch. This system is great for the treatment of stage 1- 4 pressure injuries, and for patients that can’t reposition themselves frequently. "Alternate Mode" changes loading in a 10-minute cycle of either alternating pressure or lateral rotation therapy as selected at the mattress. "Float" mode provides powered flotation therapy. A timed, 20 minute "Auto Firm" mode facilitates caregiving procedures such as transfers, dressing, cleaning and CPR and then returns to its previously selected mode. The dependable digital control unit is lightweight, quiet and easy-to-use. An upgraded cover design and control unit now provide even greater shear reduction, treatment flexibility, caregiver ergonomics and user comfort. Featuring a multi-functional comfort adjustment and a selectable audible alarm. Indicator lights for "Low pressure" and "Power Failure" give users assurance-at-a-glance of proper function.
The Shear Transfer Zones Cover Design prevent heels, sacrum, and scapula from “sinking" surface. This design provides an additional measure of shearing protection in the form of the silicone coated, shear-minimizing fabric bands located on the underside of the bi-directional stretch cover. Provide patient stability by transferring shear to more shear-tolerant anchor points. Creates tissue-friendly, anti-shearing surface with 800 individually responsive cells. Available in sizes: 75”L x 35”W x 7”H (5875LR-29); 80”L x 35”W x 7”H (5880LR-29); 84”L x 35”W x 7”H (5884LR-29); 80”L x 39”W x 7”H (AP28039-29) 84”L x 39”W x 7”H (AP28439-29); 80"L x 42"W x 7"H (3715629)
