Description
The Protekt Aire 8000 Series Alternating Pressure Bariatric Mattress System offers larger sleep surface widths of 42", 48", 54" and 60" by 80" in length. This 10" high speciality mattress is used in the prevention, treatment and management of Pressure Ulcers. This complete mattress system is designed specifically for heavier users weighing up to 750 lbs., or users who just want more space from their sleep surface. The pump offers a quiet 18 LPM (liters per minute) of air flow and therapeutic alternating pressure cycle options of 10, 15, 20 and 25 minutes. Cell-on-Cell design prevents the user from bottoming out in case of emergency. The system also features a Seat Inflate Mode to increase air flow to the middle bladders to withstand the gravitational shift in body weight when the head section of the bed is raised for reading, watching TV or eating, as well as a Max Inflate Mode that completely fills all air cells to assist with patient transfers onto and off the mattress. The system includes the complete mattress, equipment and dual compressor pump. Optional Raised Foam Edges are available.
