Quick summary
- Set-up: power on → choose Keep or Clear Settings → load the set cassette following the on-screen animation → hang the bag so the fluid starts about 10 inches (25 cm) above the top of the pump → Auto Prime (or Hold to Prime) → Adjust Rate → Start.
- More Options: clear amount fed, view up to 72 hours of history, airplane mode, brightness, prime.
- Lock Screen: press and hold Lock Screen for 5 seconds (same to unlock) — handy in a backpack.
- Silence Alarm pauses alarm audio for 2 minutes; alarms can't be permanently muted.
- Low battery appears at about 30 minutes remaining; about 7 hours of charging gives a full charge.
Kangaroo Connect alarms & troubleshooting

| Feed Complete / Feed Incomplete | A dose or bolus finished, or was interrupted. | Press Done; for an incomplete feed choose Resume or Restart. |
| Pump Inactive | No input for more than 10 minutes. | Press Continue. |
| Low Battery | About 30 minutes of battery left. | Plug in the power adapter (about 7 h to full). If plugged in, make sure the plug (or the charging hub) is fully seated. |
| Feed Bag Empty | Bag empty, or heavy foam/bubbles. | Refill; if formula remains, remove the cassette, clear bubbles and reload or use a new set. If unresolved, use a different pump. |
| Patient Tube Blocked | Clog between the pump and the patient. | Remove the cassette, find and clear the blockage, clean and dry the sensor pocket, reload; or load a new set, prime, Continue. |
| Supply Tube Blocked | Blockage or kink between the bag and the pump. | Check and clear the tubing; if not fixable, load a new set. |
| Rotor Stuck | Unusual resistance on the rotor, usually formula build-up. | Clean the rotor and rotor shaft. If unresolved, use a different pump. |
| Cassette Dislodged | The cassette magnet isn't properly seated. | Reload the cassette; check the black magnet is present; or load a new set, prime, Continue. |
| Cassette Error | Unusual rotor condition — often a primed set left installed through a power-up. | Unload and reload the cassette; check the set; load a new set if needed. |
| Dead Battery (red) | Battery failure imminent; feeding has been interrupted. | Plug the pump into a wall outlet. |
| System Error (red) | General error; an error number is shown. | Power down; note the number for Cardinal Health customer service. |
| Settings Locked | Lock Settings was enabled in Biotech mode. | Settings can't be changed until it is disabled in Biotech mode (ask your provider). |
